Volunteer at the Library

The Georgetown Public Library supports the utilization of qualified volunteers for the benefit of the Library within a structured program to supplement the work of paid staff.

I. Volunteer Requirements

A volunteer must be at least 14 years old. A volunteer application form must be completed. Forms are available at the library. Interviews, background checks, and training will be conducted prior to assignment to volunteer duties. 

II. Task Descriptions

The library will provide detailed task descriptions to accurately describe volunteer duties and requirements for the positions.
