What is Planned Giving? Planned Giving is a way to support a non-profit such as the Georgetown Library. Donors can structure a charitable donation in a tax efficient way, to support their charitable objectives.
One of the simplest ways to make a planned gift is by a bequest of money or property through a donor’s will or revocable trust. Such a bequest can be of a particular asset, a set dollar amount, or a percentage of an estate.
Don’t forget the Georgetown Public Library when planning your estate! Talk to your financial planner about designating the Library as one of your beneficiaries.
Planned Giving for the Georgetown Public Library can be made to the library’s Endowment Fund at the Delaware Community Foundation.
If you have questions or would like to learn more about the fund, please contact Mike DiPaolo at 302.335.6933 or mdipaolo@delcf.orgDelaware.
